Heritage Gum What to Do With It!

OK, before I tried to have some fun with a stacking contest - not too many bites (bites...get it?) - so here is the reality - I have a pile of it in my jacket and I'm with my wife at Tom's Ribs - we sit down to a middle table - my wife likes booths - I put my elbow on the table and it's NOT LEVEL! I know you've had that happen to you. Well, I'm about to reach for the paper napkin and I get an idea - YOU BET - 2 pieces of that crap and the table is level! The rest went to my friend Chris' kids.

OK - here's the question - what else can you do with this gum - I've got a Mike Piazza THC37 285/1955 for the most creative, humorous or inventive answer. Any takers - your Piazza AWAITS. image

haha..giveit to the UPS guy or Mailman the next time they walk up a sportscard you bought on ebay...just give them a huge stack of it...they will love bringing your cards upifthey love gum.

  • use it as padding for graded cards ie put 4 pieces on each side of the slab and tape them on...the buyer should enjoy the "bonus"

take the gum to MLB games and offer to trade the player some gum in exchange for a signature

take a handful of the gum and drive slowly around your neighborhood at night, with your headlights off until you see a kid and say "hey, little kid, want some candy" in an evil professor type of voice

have a contest with a friend as to who can chew the most pieces at one time...I think I could do about 15

talk to Target's manager and try to convince him to move the Heritage packs to the candy isle since they have gum in them

throw some of the packs of gum into the offering plate at church

get a sharpie and sign a player's name on a piece of gum and try to sell it on ebay saying you pulled it out of the pack already auto'd

send a piece of gum into PSA asking them to grade it and when they won't argue that you pulled it out of a pack so they should grade it

that's all I got for now

  • i love the gum- but not the sugarfree version in topps heritage- bowman heritage has the "real" version. i don't have any creative uses b/c i've chewed probably 60 pieces of that gum in the past 2 weeks

Use the gum in conjunction with this line while driving an umarked white van around a school: "C'mere little girl, want some candy, hee hee hee."

I have it on a good authority that this is what Michael Jackson uses his Heritage gum for.

<Just kidding... trying to win a contest here, not jail time...>

Tile your bathroom or backsplash with it. (You may want to age it first)
    Topps Heritage

    Now collecting:
    Topps Heritage

    1957 Topps BB Ex+-NM
    All Yaz Items 7+
    Various Red Sox
    Did I leave anything out?
  • I don't know about you guys but the left over gum i had from opening packs last week is
fading to a light brown color on the wrapper....
I have to admit the gum is a step up compared to the stuff i used chomp on when i was kid
    opening 1987 Topps packs.

  • I am showing my kids how to blow bubbles. They are too young to chew gum (they would just eat it), but it is another one of those priceless moments, watching your kids enjoying anything for the first time in their lives.
