Prooflike At Higher Prices Than DMPLs- You Heard It Here First

I was looking up a price on an 1883 CC Morgan earlier today when I noticed that the PCGS price guide lists the Proof Like Carson City Morgans from 1881 through 1885 in grades up to 63/64 at a higher price than the DMPLs. Maybe this is being picky, but what could be easier and more obvious than this?
My advice, hire an Intern, give them access to the data necessary and let them get it done right. Can you imagine a newbie checking out this guide as if it was the Coin God's word and making some serious purchase decisions based on the nonsense that exists here. IF YOU CAN'T GET IT DONE RIGHT, ELIMINATE THE PRICE GUIDE!!!!! image

they must be updating it. Even the greysheet has been raising the DMPL prices recently.

It has been like that for awhile now, at least 9 months. I saw that earlier and assumed the anomaly was due to how pcgs picked up prices and that not enough dmpls were being recorded to effect the average price.

Actually the regular strike price is higher than the dmpls in 63 and 64 grades.
