Sellers: please assume some responsibility

image

I’m a little tired of receiving graded cards in which the 3rd party label doesn't match the card within the holder. For example, PSA label indicates O-Pee-Chee, but the card is Topps. Typical seller response: "not my fault, that's how they graded it. Return at your expense for a refund."

My expense? So if PSA mistakenly identifies a card as Hank Aaron, but the card is Tommy Aaron, then it's not the seller’s fault? Try looking at the card before selling, or offer proper scans.

As a buyer and seller, I’m wondering if there are more loser sellers or buyers?

Okay, I feel better.

If grading companies are supposed to be experts that should never happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have gotten numerous cards labelled with incorrect sets, and misspelled player names. I have sent a few back, and PSA fixed their errors at no charge (I would have had to pay shipping, but I just threw them in with my submissions). Happens more often than I would have thought.

The seller should know what he is selling. He was suppose to send it back to PSA himself. It's irresponsible of him to play dumb.

There are a lot of sellers like that out there.

  • I've actually picked up a few bargins because of that. I guess people don't want to deal with getting it corrected so they lower their bids. As long as the seller has a clear scan, I'm happy.
