It's a Trade Dollar. You can get more information about them here.
  • This is a trade dollar. However, it looks like it has been cleaned harshly. I don't know too much about these, but they came between the Seated Liberty Dollar and the Morgan and were primarily minted for trade overseas. A lot of them have counter-stamps which are commonly referred to as "chop marks". I would steer clear of this one. Ask one of the pros for info. on them.

Looks like a trade dollar. Beware of fakes though plenty around.
No idea if that one is a fake or not.

If you are just starting to collect or Trade Dollars are new to you I would stay far away from raw coins. If you like Trade Dollars (and they are great) stick with a slab coin from PCGS,NGC or ANACS too many problems with raw ones if you don't know them

IT'S PROBABLY WORTH AT LEAST ENOUGH TO BUY A NEW KEYBOARD.

  • Be very very wary of fakes.Trade dollars are among the coins most counterfeited. If I seen a Trade dollar not encapsuled by a reputable coin grading service, such as PCGS,NGC, or ANACS I would almost automatically assume it were counterfeited.
  • i'm not an expert Trade Dollar Collector..but i'd say counterfiet...

  • Just a tip, but you might want to turn off your caps lock. It makes things incredibly difficult to read.
I heard they were making a French version of Medal of Honor. I wonder how many hotkeys it'll have for "surrender."
