Anyone notice how slow PayPal updates eBay pages?

Is it just me or does the link between PayPal and eBay seem to be a little wierd lately? It doesn't matter if I am the seller or the buyer but the "My Ebay" page is supposed to reflect a status of PAID when a seller (or buyer) pays for an auction via PayPal. This has worked for me fairly quickly in the past but now it seems to take forever to reflect the right status.

I found this while poking around the eBay Community / News / System Announcements page:


***Payments Not Marked as 'Paid' In My eBay***
Date: 03/15/04 Time: 10:59:19 AM PST


Some items that have been paid for through PayPal are not being marked as 'Paid' in My eBay for either the buyer or the seller. We are aware of the problem and working to correct it.

In the meantime, please refer to your PayPal account to see whether an item has been paid for or not.

Ditto for me. Have to check the paypal website to see who has paid.

Glad to read that notice from Ebay. I just went through the whole deal of going from ebay to paypal and back to ebay, trying to figure out what was true and correct. To make it even worse, the buyer in question had "0" ebay feedback. He paid though and now has 1 feedback.
