I know that the government is replacing them with the new style but I haven't seen ONE in months..... I wonder what 50 consecutive older Unc. $ 20's will bring on ebay......

Also, I have really come to like the new, new 20's. I like the color. I didn't think I would.

note to self..... look at all new currency......
the high price in the first link can be attributed mostly out of stupidity. Simply put, that bill is not worth that much. this shows the hype graded currency can have, which in alot of cases makes a note go for more than what it's really worth. yes, Third party grading isn't looked upon too highly among collectors. but thats for another thread.
the second link highlights how much people are willing to spend on special serial numbers. as you can see, solid digit bills bring high premiums.
if you have any more currency related questions, please post them on the currency board. we're nice people!
I can vouch for that here in Boston. It's about 50-50.

Are you guys telling me they are worth more than $2,000 in that manner?
Seriously??

deadhorse, I don't understand what you are asking.
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

no. unless atleast one of them has a special serial number, they are worth no more than face value
Also I have 200 mostly consecutive # $1.00 bills that starts with 88888 if anyone is interested.
