Win just sent me the MOST beautiful 1939-D Arkansas, PCGS 65.
Its got very light golden toning with VERY clean cheeks and rim toning on the reverse , especially at the date and a shaddow of toning at United States of America.
I flunked scanning and posting "101". So, please bear with me, and wait till the complete collection is imaged and posted when I compelete the set with the future addition of the last two coins missing: the 1939-P Arkansas and the 1951 Washington/Carver.
Any help steering me towards a blast white coin, with slight rim toning is greatly appreciated.
I may retire sooner than I thought, as I never thought this set would be completed until I could actually retire.
Its been alot of fun ... five years in accomplishing this set has been more than interesting. Its too bad PCGS doesn't list the two Norse Medals for inclusion. I have the Thick in PCGS 65 and the Thin in ( gasp) NGC 65. My primary objective was to complete the set in as white original condition as possible, with very faint rim toning. Each and every coin falls into thaat category.
I'm more than pleased with this recent addition. Thanks Win.
PS: Thanks Ruth !!
