Some positivity

Just wanted to bring some much needed positivity to our little board. I am what most would consider the lower end of the PSA spectrum. I have maybe 10 cards at 500.00 or more, the rest smaller cards and player sets. That being said brings me to the point. On this board it doesn't matter!! In the last few months I have had great experiences with two of our members, RobE and Gator05. My main interest is Dale Murphy player sets. RobE not only held on to a '80 Murph in a 10( the only one) until I could pay for it, but he then looked over about 50 of my Murphy cards for submission. Gator hooked me up with a 1981 in a 9 off ebay, and then emailed me first about the 1986 10 he just got back. My point is how great the people on this board are and it makes no difference about the amount of cards you have or their value. These two individuals don't know me from Jack, yet went out of their way to help me with my Murphy sets. People like these make this the best community on the web. Just wanted to share my great experience.

Thanks! It's a pleasure to deal with you too.

Matt is good people too. Also has an eye for quality so that must be a nice 86 he has for you.image

BTW - it has been recently discovered where the 80 Murph card has finally become a pop 2.And the fellow has the other Concepcion which is now a pop 2 as well.

Enjoy the persuit in building the set.

Gator is the smooth 81 Guru! His eyes can read the whole story on each and every 1981 Topps. And when you get his stamp of approval
    you got the gold seal.

I'm sure Rob E. is the same deal with the 80's.

Hey, that's me...I didn't know either was a pop 2! Very cool. I also want to chime in here and thank RobE for his help and advice as I start out on my 1980 set. It's a tough hill to climb to get to his, but I'm gonna try! Thanks, man!

    Matt,we'll make your day delightful.

How about everyone who is gathering a bunch of cards for submission send everything to Gator.Matt does his first 10,000 card submission weeding out everything below the hi quality Gator standard.

As a gift I'll throw in an all expenses paid eye exam and a new pair of glasses for the amount of cards he has to sort through.image

I also have dealt with both these guys and they are outstanding. As are most of the guys on this board. This is what makes the hobby more enjoyable. I have learned more and been HELPED more on this board in the last two years than in the previous 25 in the hobby. Its contagious and motivates you to help others.
