Now you know why I won't consign any of my toned stuff to Teletrade.

I know it's not a monster but I like it. Nice blue color. Price was kinda high though.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

I'm confused Tom, is this an item you consigned or one you bought?

Well there is someone else out there who was willing to pay about the same price.
I see some nice toners (and lots of uglies that some folks praise to the heavens) posted here and decided that I would like to have a few for my collection. Mite be interesting to put together a grading set of toned MS coins.

K6AZ: This lot doesn't seem to make a good case for not consigning to Teletrade. Where else can you sell a coin like this, as part of a small consignment, for $190?

To the buyer: the color looks very nice.

gemtone65.........what does the seller take home after fees and postage to mail the coin??????????
Family, kids, coins, sports (playing not watching), jet skiing, wakeboarding, Big Air....no one ever got hurt in the air....its the sudden stop that hurts. I hate Hurricane Sandy. I hate FEMA and i hate the blasted insurance companies.

Tsacch: I'm sure others out there know a lot more about Teletrade's auction fees than I do. Without researching this further, my guess would be 20% -- 10% imposed nominally on both the buyer and seller. Mail fees per lot will decline as the number of coins consigned increses. Also, Teletrade attends many regional shows (they were at Baltimore), and so you can drop your coins off at those locations without charge. You may find this option to be a lot more attractive, in terms of both net proceeds and convenience, than trying to sell MS64 and MS65 average and somewhat above average toned dollars elsewhere -- like to dealers.

BP was 10% and postage was $4. Since I have never consigned to TT I have no idea what commission is but I'm sure its on their site somewhere.
