Many dealers will not accept credit cards because

either they are not set up for them or because it

costs the dealer 3-4 % to get the charge processed.

Even if they accept the card, you will not get a good a price

as you would for cash. Some dealers will accept a check. Especially

if they have done bussiness with you or another dealer they know will vouch for

you. Cash is usually king, checks next and credit cards last.

According to Coin World's listing, there is no admission fee for this 100-table show.

I agree, it's unlikely that any of the dealers there will accept credit cards. Most will accept checks and let you take the coins with you if someone (another dealer or a long-term customer) will vouch for you. Otherwise, they'll often take your check and then mail you the coin after it clears.

Frankly, for transactions under about $1,500, cash is probably best.

Have fun and don't forget to post a report after you get back!

  • For anyone who has been to this show before, do you know how often it is held?

I just found out about it this weekend, but am planning on attending.

See you all there. Will bring cash image
