All coins are Type 2! What do you think, crack and dip, or would I do better to sell intact! image

    It depends on what the SBA would grade out as. If high, crack it open, if not sell intact.

    I don't think the other type II's bring much of a premium.

    Nasty haze. I think that my 1981 set (not type II btw) looks similar.

    Live and learn,

    According to the CU guide, the cent is worth a sizable bump in Type II also.

    The Lincoln is 10 times harder to find than the SBA.

    Well, I cracked and submitted. The ones that were boarderline got the 69s and the lock 69s got 68, I swear, these guys are BACK ASSWARDS these days! The Lincoln I agree with, I could'nt get the dark spot out without changing the color of the coin. I guess Im happy because I can get the 68s changed on review. Submission 3109047.

    I hope it didn't take 5 months.

    If the coins had problems (i.e. the dark spot) you should have left it to sell as a set.

    This set is one of the few with a premium. Unless there is something
    ultra high grade leave it intact.
