Finally filled this hole.

My SA 1/2d proof set now has a complete date run from 1944 - 1960!! imageThis elusive 1947 seems harder to locate than the mintage implies.

Now comes the hard part, working backwards from 1943 down. image I love the challenge!!!

I hope the coin is to your liking. I have not heard too much good about these newer PCI slabs.

Congradulations on finishing your set(or at least a chunk of it)!

Congratulations! And you got it for a great price also! It has to feel good to pin down that last gap in the run. So how much harder are the 43 and down?

Those are tougher, mintages below 150 and some in double digits. It will be a long hard road. Ain't it great!! image

Oh, you'll fill all those holes in about a year or so. Nice grab!

    Thanks, O Dead One.

Now I need to fix a hole in my head, where the rain gets in.

And stops my mind from wond'ring...where it will go.

Not only the rain got into my head, apparently. Now that song is there, too.

And it really doesn't matter if I'm wrong or right-- if I belong I'm right where I belong.
