I won't pretend to know gold, but given the strike, luster, and mark free surfaces, I'd guess:

beautiful coin! If it's not a 65, its a very PQ 64. could be 66 today, unless some tiny blem is worse than it looks in the pics.

Looks to be a very high end MS64...at PCGS at least. Gem or better anywhere else I would think?

I would normally say 65 but in my experience with PCGS gold I'll go with 64. Nice coin.

I'd say MS-65 -- good strike and luster, with minimal marks (though it looks like there may be some in the field behind the head which would probably preclude it from going 66). A lot nicer than the MS-63s I have...

Terrific Coin darktone... I would say 45% shot at 65 and 55% shot at 66. As for the grade on the holder, and I know I am going to open up a hornets nest with this comment, it may depend when it was submitted. In any event, it is a keeper and I am sure that you are pleased to own it.

I'll say 65, for the heck of it, but I truly dunno, could 66. It's certainly clean, satiny and pretty! There's a teensy-looking mark down the back of the neck that could limit the grade - ?

Old PCGS holder 65. New holder 66 or even possibly 67.

I know very little about grading gold, but I'm going to say it's one of the two that PCGS has graded MS67. It has incredibly clean and smooth fields. And the pic is such a big blow-up that any flaws that we see are going to be just about invisible with the coin in hand.

Definitely at least a 66! Awesome coin.
