Is this a bad slab?

I got a card in the mail the other day and just noticed it looks a little different any other slab I've seen. It looks legit, with "PSA" molded into the lower right corner, but it doesn't seem to fit right. The front face of the slab is about a millimeter off to the right from the back half. And the four clear "notches" on the sides aren't there, it's the same solid fuzzy grey the whole way up and down. The card is a Ben Grieve rookie that I won for $6, and it had a BIN of $12 anyway, and the card itself looks like a solid 9, and I don't see any breaks in the seal that would indicate a switch so I'm almost positive it's not a scam. Does anyone know what this might indicate? Is any of this making sense?
