Busy! Light dealer set up due to many being in Baltimore, but traffic was good, and things were a movin'
I've got to get back to this. Minor household disaster going on.

Knew there was going to be a lighter than usual dealer set up, with the timing of Baltimore, which it was. A very light dealer turn out. Probably 50 or so tables/dealers, where this show has been filling with 80+ tables/dealers.
Quite a few dealers had made the trip to Baltimore earlier in the week, and gave it a whirl here also, but there were a few tired eyes.
Foot traffic was surprisingly strong. Again, considering the timing with Baltimore. Things seemed to be flowing well in the room, but nothing earth shattering.
Many dealers/collectors were eager to show off their recent purchases from Baltimore. Some neat stuff. Another dealer had the good fortune of purchasing 3 complete sets of Barber Quarters, and had the 3 big keys back from a quick trip to NGC. Says the "source" of the coins still has one more set, with a wonderful vg/fine '01-s. Tasty!
On a personal note, I sold quite a few coins, purchased a few coins, and saw a few very interesting coins, including a presentable '74cc dime with fineish details.
Met up with a couple of board members. Always a pleasure talking coins with members of the forum. A few of the usual suspects were noticeably absent, and they had better have good excuses!
Lots of dealers running around with miscellaneous want lists. Not out of the ordinary except that there was a larger than usual amount of "hunting" going on.
Plenty of gold hanging around in cases That fad seemed to fade quick. Fad is probably the wrong term, but it's funny how a stampede can run through looking for the stuff one week, and then it sits and looks pretty the next.
That's it for now. If I think of anything else, I'll get back here.
