  • My vote in this order.

1 20 fr pattern - Wicked looking coin.
    5 Toned Farthing - Sweet.
    2. US nickel pattern - Cool pattern.
    4. US half dime - Always nice.
    3. Gold Stater - Looks dull to me.

Just remember, you'll see your own icon many times, so if all those coins had the same value, and you were forced to sell four of them, which one gives you a imageimage

I read the question then panned down to the coins and Gasped,,, They are all fantastic. If forced to pick one I will go with the Fr pattern

This one looks pretty cool: 20 fr pattern
(The first one from the left)

I don't know if it really is gold or not, but it sure looks cool!

Boiler, I like your present icon, but of the five new choices, number 5 is the best, with its wild colors. Then I'd vote for number 1, followed by 3.

Ah, but I was not selecting an Icon for myself but for a known collector of stunning patterns. The 2 I selected are both stunning patterns. image

The farthing, closely followed by the stater. The colors on the farthing leap out, much as with your current Morgan half icon.

Say, speakin' of French patterns, I haven't forgotten the trade we have percolating on the back burner. I just need to scrape up a li'l cash to go with my end of the trade...

    Your icon is already gorgeous.

Post all of those incredible coins in your sig line. After all, are you going to choose which of your children you love more?

You must use the 20fr pattern. That is brilliantly beautiful design.

You guys aren't making this any easier!image Thanks JohnZ for the great idea and the tutorial on how to post images in my sig line. I am leaning toward the 20fr since I am primarily a pattern collector and the 20fr scratches more than one itch. If anyone wants to "wear" any of these your more than welcome to use them. Not that you need my permission.image

Rob- I haven't forgotten you! I put a little reminder in my new sig line.image
