Odd peace dollar

My grandpa worked at the mint and collected coins all his life. He had lots of dollars that were released in the 60s. He left me a bunch and I've completed a couple of peace dollar sets but I only have one coin dated 1964. I don't have a spot in the folder for it and I didn't find it in the redbook either.

Are my other 2 sets considered complete or do I need two more of these?

Mark, your sets are considered incomplete without these. Lucky for you I have a few extra and will sell them cheap.

I have a set complete with the 1964 Peace dollar and the 1964 Franklin half.

Well, i just put the complete set on ebay and ill wait to finish the rest before i sell them. Most of them are worn so I put the "buy it now" at 499.00 if anyone needs a set.

I've often said that the mint should backdate and reissue 1964 peace dollars. With congressional approval, of course. That would be pretty cool.

Is there a mint mark? The 1964 D/S with oversized D, partial die crack through the date and lower hair is the rare variety. Without a mintmark, that's just a common 1964 peace dollar.
