Hi everybody. I've been a member here for several years, granted I haven't always had a lot to say, but I've never met a group of people that were so knowledgeable and entertaining. I've watched you all be so generous with the charity auctions and we've all done our part to help our fellow board member's families in times of crisis.

That's why I'm posting this today. I'm involved with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Sarasota County. We are holding a Bowl For Kids fund raiser at the Venice AMF Lanes on March 21. I'm organizing five teams of five people at the Home Depot where I work. And of course we're all collecting pledges to raise money.

Our goal is to raise at least $1200 for Big Brothers/Big Sisters. There are about 25 kids on the waiting list and we can match up at least one child with a mentor with those funds.

If anyone would like to help, please PM me with your contact info so we can keep it private. No cash comes to me. After the fund raiser, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Sarasota County will contact all the pledges.

And just to keep this on topic, all people who PM me to make a pledge will be entered in a drawing for a MS63 1909VDB Lincoln cent and a Proof Set of my choice!

I'll post the pledge total and the winner on Monday evening, March 22nd.
