I joined at the Platinum level and sent my first 8 Morgans in for PCGS grading on 2/7 and got them back this week. Six of the eight were graded exactly as I would have graded them... not bad!
Here are the results:
1 21493406 1878-CC S$1 USA MS63
2 21493407 1882-CC S$1 USA MS64
3 21493408 1883-CC S$1 USA MS64
4 21493409 1884-O S$1 USA MS63
5 21493410 1884-CC S$1 USA MS64
6 21493411 1896 S$1 USA MS64
7 21493412 1893 S$1 USA AU58
8 21493413 1897-S S$1 USA MS64
The only two that were surprises were the 84-O and the 93-P.
The 84-O I thought was a 64. It's gorgeous and PL, but apparently has a little too much stuff going on with the reverse and is not PL enough. But it's a common date, so no big deal.
The 93-P was slightly cleaned on the obverse. I bought it raw a few years ago as Unc before I knew how to spot cleaned coins. James of Jade Coin thought they would knock it down to AU50 for the cleaning, so I guess 58 is pretty good.
Overall I was pretty happy with the results.

Good grades for a first timer.
<< <i>Would that be a 93P or a 93S? Your text speaks of a 93P but the list of grades speaks of a 93S. Good grades for a first timer. >>
Actually the "S" stands for "silver" as opposed to gold.

Thanks Tom for pointing out my error. I did not read it closely enough. Even still, nice grades for a first timer.
