Not a AH, but a 1964 haf that I sold last night for crazy money!

$20 coin sold for $182!!!!! Not hyped, not the best picture and I started it with no reserve.

It was not misleading. I described th coin as it was and started it at no reserve for under $2. I am shocked.

It alawys helps when two people want the same coin in an auction and get into a pi$$ing contest over it.

Thats what happened with my former 77 CC quarter, [new worlds record price for the date]

It also happened with the 66 graded 32 D washington.

It's more luck then anything else when it happens imo.

I have one more in the same holder, grade etc on ebay that ends tonight. It is currently @ $7.28

Maybe it will get alot of action also but I doubt it.

Or the underbidder and the second underbidder. With your 10 day return policy, i wouldn't be suprised if you get this one returned to you. Throw something nice in the package as a bonus item, maybe he'll be so happy to get a freebie that he won't think to return it.

Cameron, Congratulations! That's a nice hit. FYI: That 38-D PCI MS65 Buffalo you're selling is not a "PCI Old Label" coin. The slash between the date and mintmark along with the "g" in mintage is the giveaway. It's the "new PCI", right before they went with the Gold Label.

I guess you'de have to deal with various holders to know that (?).

Cameron, I'm not totally up on Kennedy prices. But I thought I would suggest that you up your exposure on your camera with that setup. That is pretty amazing, $180+ for a 64 proof Kennedy.
