Dont want to get drilled for this but i have to post it.
Do you guys think this will drop in price bc it seems to me that this is going to be double printed by topps? was heritage this hot the past 3 years also? Im just wondering bc this stuff is like gold right now. when you can buy a 29.99 sealed box of 11 packs and flip it to ebay and make a profit on a 1 day listing(thats what i did made about 17$ on a box) this seems to good to be true!! with these odds i will myself keep buying until the flip doesnt make any money. bc eventually i have to get an auto or game used on top of the sp's. seems like easy money to me right now!

is good at finding old posts I think I have figured out the print runs of both 2003 and 2004 heritage. I
would be curious to see how those stack up. It seems to me by the autographs list and the longer
odds that 04 was overproduced, but if you consider that many of these retail boxes are loaded, there
might be less cards out there than we think, the short prints are no guage, but numbered cards
like chromes and retrochromes, are finite in number, if they are pulling better than the 1:7 and 1:25 odds
respectivly, then this stuff isn't overproduced and might be limited as compared to 02 and 03.
As I have said before, back in 2001 toys r us packs contained 6-8 low numbered short prints
a pack, however I never pulled a GU or auto from any of them. Im my opinion, topps simply
ran out of the autos and tried to make up with it with sp's, or maybe they over produced
them!
I scanned ebay quickly tonight and saw that there is NO cool down in sight for this product. Master
sets and big lots of chomes, and sp's are still selling VERY well. Those prices are based on the
1:2 hobby pulls. So far in the limited retail boxes auctions I have seen NOTHING mentioned about
these hot boxes. We can use that to our advantage. I would suggest wrapping a set up quickly
and then ebaying the rest to recoup some cost. A master set can be bought for 400 bucks on
ebay right now, but 400 bucks in retail boxes (13) would net you 156+ short prints...thats almost
enough for 1 and a half sets, and chances are you would pull a few autos, GU and some nice
chromes maybe even a few black chromes!
Do you see the amazing potential here?
The real question is....how much will the collector with willpower make, on retail boxes that he hasn't
opened yet? I don't think I could even buy a few and put them away, but I guarentee you that in a
month you will be getting more than 30 bucks on ebay for them.
The time is now, this set is always hot and there are ALOT of rookies here, throw in these retail gold
boxes and you have fun AND value...I can't remember the last product that could boast those
credentials!

Kevin, I'm right on it - I have figured that if you take the gum from the total amount of packs produced, lay them END TO END, they will reach from San Antonio to Jacksonville, Florida!
Now that's a lotta chewin!
Im contemplating selling my Master set......do I really want $400.00 sitting in my closet when I can pick it up next year for $250.00. Something Im thinking about.
