In my opinion it would make a good coin for someone that couldnt otherwise afford an AU or MS. sometimes we've gotta remember that what may not be "good enough" for us is as good as someone else can do. And that person may well someday turn out to be some kind of eliasberg.

The photo does tell the story on this coin. The seller was not trying to hide anything and may have made the coin look worse than it actually is. It's a dollar and collectors really want dollars. I'm not surprised at the realization though I personally wouldn't want a coin with that kind of hairlining.
