    Not bad....what did they have this graded as? How does it fit visually with the pieces you already owned?

    They had it as Red-Brown Prooflike. Brilliant Uncirculated.

    Another beautiful pattern. I'm amazed that the German mint didn't choose any of these great designs. I guess it proves that narrow-minded pencil pushers made coin design decisions a hundred years ago too... A great site too! image

  • I think those pencil pushers in Germany may have emigrated to the U.S. and began a new career working for the U.S. Mint. The Roosevelt dime and the Susan B. Anthony was their revenge for the Treaty of Versailles and Nuremburg!

    (Can I say "Susan B. Anthony" out loud in this forum?)

    Anyway cosmic, thats a sweet looking pattern.
