I don't know you or BJ, but the fact that you regret your actions and desire to rectify publically it says a lot in itself. Make it so on the registry forum as you've done here, if you've not already done so.
Human behavior is a funny thing, and I think most everyone, if they're honest with themselves, can say they have "jumped the gun" at some point or another in their life. Except for me, of course, I've never done that
