any championship ring experts?

there's a 2001 sec championship ring on ebay. i was curious if anybody knows what these things are worth? i remember when the kids from georgia got in trouble selling theirs last year they were in the $1000 range. It seems like a once in a blue moon collectible opportunity. but the seller has the players name blocked on the ebay scan....anyone think this is too good to be true?

If you look in the last photo, you can see the players name 'Robinson' on the side of the ring. They had a WR, Reggie Robinson on their roster for 2000.
