It's awful hard to tell what eye appeal a coin has from a scan - scans never catch the luster of a coin properly because they are not the right equipment for imaging metal - they are for documents.

I do agree, however, that coin does not grade 69 - from all the rim nicks and other dings I can see.

SGS is one of the worst gradings companies;one I rank worse than ACG.

Isn't that a rare non-MS/PR 70 SGS slab? I didn't think they graded that low.

Nice slash mark on the check and forehead. Heck it's only overgraded by 6 points. Someone told me SGS means Suckers guessing service. America's grading service......True but it's South America's grading service!! Just my opinion of course!!

If I had 1/20th of a cent for every piece of crap like that I saw on eBay (and others), in one year I could afford to buy one of Adrian's finer examples.
