Possible Commemorative issues for the next few years

I was poking around the U.S. Legislative web pages to see what commorative bills have been proposed.
I'm not sure on the exact status of all of these, or even if some of them are still alive and kicking, but here is a list of some of the proposed commemoratives:
2005
Marine Corps 230th Anniversary
Chief Justice John Marshall
Davy Crockett
2006
San Fransisco Old Mint
Old Man of the Mountain
American Veterans Disabled for Life
Benjamin Franklin
Theodore Roosevelt (of special note here, 2 versions...one of which is designated to have the $20 St. Gaudens reverse)
2007
Jamestown 400th Anniversary
2008
Congressional Medal of Honor Memorial (I also saw this one listed for 2005, most recent bill was for 2008 though)
2009
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Those were the majority of the ones that I saw listed.
So, what are your opinions on which ones you would prefer?

<< <i>The one they are missing is one for 2005 celebrating the people voiting George Bush out of office. >>
F'in' troll. Why'd you go and take a perfectly nice commem thread and politicize it?
The Old Man of the Mountain is already on the quarter and doesn't Ben Franklin already appear on a coin?

Not only that but it doesn't even exist anymore. It fell of the cliff.
Lets look at some of these other brilliant ideas.
The 230th anniversary of the Marines. Who ever heard of commemorating the 230th anniversary of anything?
The SF Mint. Still empty. Still in need of millions of dollars of seismic up grades.
Disabled Vets. Thats timely, and sadly we can thank Mr. Bush for those disabled in Iraq. Oh, gee, there I go politiczing this thread again. Shame on me.
I like Mdwoods idea about Henry Ford and Walter Reuther--the appropriate design motif would be Mr. Ford's goons beating the living daylights out of Mr. Reuther and his fellow union organizers.
TR with the St. Gaudens reverse. Once again reusing an old design as if we have no living artists who are capable of fresh new designs.
John Marshall: You'd have to remind most people who he was.
Davy Crockett: OK, every American boy played Davy Crockett as a kid. He had the guts to stand against the deportation of the Cherokee and Choctaw (the so-called trail of tears). It cost him his seat in Congress.

<< <i>I'd like to see a series of commems on US ships that are/were named the Constitution. >>
That would be a short series, since there's only been one. Officially, the original USS Constitution is still a US Navy ship, which means the name has never been available for use by another naval vessel.

Oh.
We'll use our hands and hearts and if we must we'll use our heads.
<< <i> Oh. >>
Still would make a great coin, tho'. I've always been partial to ships on coins.

Maybe I was thinking of the Enterprise. Have there been several USS Enterprise's?

U.S. Nickels Complete Set with Major Varieties, Circulation Strikes
U.S. Dimes Complete Set with Major Varieties, Circulation Strikes
We'll use our hands and hearts and if we must we'll use our heads.
Get the Perth mint to design them and the water and ships would look very nice in Proof, or reverse proof, or a combination of the two.
