It's hard to tell with those pics, but it looks AU to me. Probably a nice AU.

If what Karl means is coming up with a half-way accurate grade from those pics is next to impossible
    then, I,d agree.

It looks dipped by the pic. Hard to tell from a pic though. What is the deal? Are you considering buying it? Sending it in for grading?

The picture is too blurry to make an accurate guess, and a guess is all you can manage from a pic anyway. I will say, however, that many Peace Dollars are weakly-struck around the temple area. It's entirely possible to have an Unc. coin with what looks like rub on Liberty's hairdo (or lack thereof as some would suggest.)

    We ARE watching you.

Dukie: I'm guessing XF/AU, but it is very difficult to tell from the scanned image. Perhaps AU-53 to AU-55 (Max)...

Looks like it's cleaned/polished, with significant wear. I think PCGS/NGC would body bag it.image

Take a loupe and see if you can't find a lot of very small pin size pits on the surface. Most likely this coin had PVC, and the PVC was removed but not before it did damage.
