I don't want to be the guy that goes around correcting everyone's piddly meaningless errors, but as a nuclear engineer I feel that I must point out Plutonium was not discovered until 1940. Uranium was indeed in use at the turn of the century as a phosphorescent in glass and ceramics (before fission was discovered). Gah, this reads so self-rightous even I want to punch me in the face. I just can't help myself
You guys are friggin' funny. I'm so glad I signed up at CU. Sans Maxim, this is the highlight of my reading material. I take that back, I don't really "read" Maxim, I look at the pictures. (Don't go there.) Anyway, I thought Mr. Nuclear's reply was LOL funny. And I don't LOL at everything.
