2004 La Purchase in change - First report?

I just got a 2004 La Purchase in change at lunch today here in Austin TX. I'm surprised they got into circulation so fast. Anyone else get one in change yet?

I've spent them in Biloxi. Gave samples to a bunch of people too. Everyone says they feel lighter.

I took a bunch to work and handed them out. I also gave a bunch to my wife to give away, and my son and girl friend each got a handfull! So look for them in SE Wisconsin!

I have been spending them around town so keep an eye out in Northern NJ. I should just carve my initials in one and see if anyone here finds it... kinda like the whole note in a bottle, hoping somone finds it.... Hmm, maybe I will make a contest out of it...
