Coin designs and subject matter-Post images of what you find interesting.

There’s battles to be won
and battles to be lost
In the establishment of grades
And what a coin should cost.

There are opinions on strike,
Luster and eye appeal,
And arguments result
On which slab is most ideal.

Die cracks and errors
Have interest for us all,
But it’s the design on the coin
That holds me most in thrall.

Lions and leopards,
Kings and shepards,
Queens of the realm,
Captains at the helm,
Thistles and weeds,
Victories and deeds,
judges and jesters,
Even the earl of Leicester.

The history of mankind
Is struck on what we collect,
And the choice of subject matter
Often makes me reflect.

So please, post images diverse
On any design you like;
Showing obverse or reverse,
From Haiti to Hitler's 3rd reich.

I like the allegorical symbols of countries, long term reverses like the eagle and the snake on Mexico's money.

And in three distinct styles as well, interpreted by the engravers of three different countries. I don't recognize your first dragon coin however-will you educate me?
