Thanks - I just couldn't believe neither ESPN carried the game nationally, it was obvious what the game was going to be like (not to mention two playoff teams with a bad history already). Sometimes it sucks living in CA ...
Penalty shot??? No way - my vote for the most exciting "play" in hockey is a goalie fight. Hearing the crowd noise was awesome, and they just exploded with Esche and Lalime got into it. I watched it 3x in a row, and ended up missing the end of an auction I was tracking - but it was worth it .

P.S. rw2win - nevermind, you figured it out (edit)

Joker - me too! John - I wasn't expecting the SOUND like that! It was great! It scared the Crap outa my cat! The was more exciting than the last two HBO saturday night fights! Mike
OK not into hockey but is there an "unwritten" rule that you cant head butt when fighting? And did you ever see the one where the guy gets his fingers sliced off? (accidently off course)
its a pretty rough situation but does anyone have the whole footage from the bertuzzi moore deal last night? i would like to see it from start to finish. i missed sportscenter. i have the actual hit in the link below (scroll down to extras and play video) but it doesn't show what went on much after he hit the ice.
The Flyers game was great...being from Philly originally I enjoyed many of these at the Old Spectrum...ahh those were the days...
Anyway, I watched this game knowing that Hitch would have the boys hunting Havlat who Martin never put out on the ice; the Flyers were gunning for him after two-handing Recchi in Ottawa across the face with his stick. When Philly had a 5-2 lead with under two minutes it started...lots of fun to watch too with gloves flying on every face-off.
None of this holds a candle to the days of Dave Schultz and Bob Kelly.......

I found it on the messageboards at www.hockeyfights.com in the "video clips" forum.
I just found out about the site today...pretty cool to see all of the fights from the night before.
Are you on a Mac?
Got it. I had to download some view software stuff. Thanks!

Joker73-
I completely agree with you.....I really liked how the music tied into the goalie fight.
It brought back memories of the Colorado / Detroit fights from a couple of years ago.
