The price of silver and coins

Dose the price of silver make my coins more collectable?
I like to collect coins that are pre 1965 and silver. It seems like there are a lot out there
But with eBay I would think it would dry up soon. Also with the price of silver growing up. Silver coins would go up also wouldn’t they?

It depends on the coin. A 1932-D Washington Quarter won't be affected as much because it's value is mostly numismatic (being a key date). On the other hand, a Proof 1957 quarter might well increase in value a fair amount. On the other hand, if you collect silver eagles, they will go up a lot. It just depends on how much of the value of the coin is there because it's silver, and how much value there is because it's rare. P.S. Why did you post two threads about this?
