No, I haven't seen donald duck cartoons in a long time (and with a 2 year old, I am starting to see a lot of cartoons....thankfully, he likes the scooby doo reruns )

I collected comic books when I was younger (20+ years ago for many of them) but they aren't as prolific as they once were.
You used to be able to get them at most drugstores and grocery stores. Now, some bookshops don't have them and many other stores don't either.
They were great for me in reading and increasing my very young vocabulary (I started reading them around 5 years old) but the cost these days.....what is it? Around $2 per? Not many kids are going to get many comics at that price i don't think
I will let my kid read my old ones and spend the new money on coins for him
btw......how much would a nice looking set of frankies in an album cost? About MS63 or so (FBL not mandatory).
And, where would one go about getting a set from? Many years of searching, or who would be a reputable person?
I would like to get my boy complete sets of moderns while I can, and while they are affordable, as I think by the time he gets old enough to do this on his own, I want him focusing on upgrading and learning rather than piecing together a potentially expensive set that could discourage him or bankrupt me

I would buy a album, and help him fill it...... many mint state raw frankies can be had very in-expensive.......
Teach him the thrill of the hunt, and the fun of putting each coin into the album....

I think the mint is figuring out it has a way to go with mass laser engraving technology before they do something like this again.
