cool! -- does this mean I get a free grading? (Grade at last!)

DennisHDennisH Posts: 13,990 ✭✭✭✭✭
One of my current 15-day invoices (1 coin) was received on 2/17, which made today day #15.

No grade was/is posted on the website, so does that mean I win a "Get Into PCGS Free" card?
When in doubt, don't.

  • According to business day standards, you should see a post by today, or tomorrow, depending on the time zone you're in.
But then again, is this the 17th Tuesday following the winter solestice,... was there a full moon last week,... was there a coin show anywhere in the tri-state area of California during the past week or so that rendered PCGS a ghost town?

    Keep looking and have faith.

Actually, you're on day 13. On the 17th, they were at an invitational doing on-site grading. With travel time, the clock didn't start until 2.20. Then the clock stopped again this week when they headed to Baltimore.

I think it only apllies to coins submitted AFTER March 1.
PCGS Currency: HOF 2013, Best Low Ball Set 2009-2014, 2016, 2018. Appreciation Award 2015, Best Showcase 2018, Numerous others.

The guarantee also applies to coins submitted before March 1st. The guarantee was changed at that time, not implemented. The previous guarantee is actually better as it did not limit the free gradings to one per each late day. The entire submission would be comped.

Remember all bets are off until next Monday, PCGS is in Baltimore!
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

    Day #17 brought... nada.
    When in doubt, don't.
  • Yes, the invtational counts. A paper jam in the shredder counts. Rebooting any printer for a buffer overflow or computer for a slow run counts. As well, any show as yet unscheduled for star date 4550.7 may count for preparation to such.

Realize the truth,... California does not operate any business, politics, or lifestyle in the same space-time-continuoum as any other part of the planet. A good example,.. look who they have for a governeer for hell sake!!

PCGS will probably boot me off for that one image

That's because you're really still on day #13. You need to adjust for the PCGS Time Zone Factor. image
