I'm a Indian cent collector, so don't mind me, but this item seems a tad esoteric. Also, it is not a "Red Book" DDO so I think he's asking way too much.

    10 times too much?

  • Seems pretty high to me Mo, but i admit stupidity on things like this... I do know that i would rather have the proof half, but it's overpriced by about 300 or so....

Mo, it might be a good idea to mention the series of coin in the title. If I had known this was a Lincoln question, I wouldn't have looked because I know next to nothing about Lincolns. Mentioning Lincoln in the title with get the Lincoln guys attention.

    say its not so!image
  • I thought that PCGS only certified recongized errors of this type. Recognized by who I don't know, but it can't be that esoteric.

It does not look very red unless that is a very bad picture.

Let me just say "That is a terrible pic" I wouldn't even say it was MS65 from that pic, much less RED.As to value I as a long time Lincoln Collector wouldn't pay that kind of money for it.Most real Lincoln collectors will know this as a secondary Dbl Die.The price should have been set at half the asking price and let the market determine it's true value. I think I'd rather get the more pronounced 55 double die...

the 55 double die has been a dream coin of mine since i was very young....
