Well this is a first

i recently sold a 1973 Topps hockey Eddie Giacomin PSA 9 1/1 on ebay for $14.50. i was hoping to get at least $30-$40 since it was a one of one, but you win some and you lose some. i got payment for it today, and imagine my surprise when i found a check for $35. enclosed was a note saying "bump to $35- fairer price for the Giacomin PSA 9." the seller actually included $20 extra because he felt the price was too low.

his ebay ID is pcate. i don't know if he posts or reads the boards, but he is truly a class act.

Definately a rare situation. You should throw in something for free as a thank you. That buyer deserves it.
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

Wow...really a classy gesture on that guy's part. A bonus card or something to that effect sent with his purchase sounds like a good idea.
