Heritage: kings of spam

Here's a story for you. I used to have a Heritage Numismatic Auctions account. Not that I ever bid on their stuff (too far out of my budget), but I used to use the free "My Collections" part of their site to keep track of some of my coins.
Well, I had not touched it in a very long time, several months. Last month, I tried to log in with no luck. Tried to get a password reset, and that didn't work either. Finally, I emailed them, and one of their customer service reps said they delete accounts that don't have activity for a certain period of time, I think 6 months or longer.
BUT, apparently even though I supposedly don't have an account with them anymore, they have still managed to start using my email to send me spam! It's been about a month and I've already gotten 3 or 4 advertising emails from them. I am pretty sure that the last time I got one, I clicked their link to unsubscribe. That was at least a couple of weeks ago. I just got another one today!
That really gives Heritage a cheesy image, in my mind anyway. Anyone else had this happen with major coin auction houses?
Well, if nothing else, thanks for letting me vent.

Yep!! Never click on the "unsubscribe", just endure it or use a spam deleter (for all they are worth).
Also, if you sign up for a domain name, pay the extra to be sure your owner/contact info is PRIVATE, and thereby not available for BOTS to vacuum up the info.......and, these chain emails (you know, "I thought this was so cute or It's your lucky day...just PASS IT ALONG". DON'T! Ever notice most people leave everyone elses email strings.....guess who eventually winds up with them? THE SPAMMERS.
That is all!!
