  • Bowman Heritage is more geared towards rookie collectors (like myself). Plus, for 1/1 collectors, each rookie has a Gold Rainbow 1/1 parallel (I am buying these whenever I can- have 8 so far). Word is the Rickie Weeks 1/1 sold for $750. Yikes...

Proudly buying your rookie cards since 1987.

    Jeff-

The Bowman Heritage set uses the design of the never released 1956 Bowman Set . It incorporates both double image and "knothole" deigns that were used later in Topps Football and Hires Root Beer Issues. There are no SPs in the set but 100 true Rookie cards (including Weeks and Delmon Young). I have completed a master set (base set, box topper set, black signature parallel set, and Rookie Rainbow Parallel set).

I recommend it if you like lots of rookie cards.

    thanks for the info guys!

I am probably not patient enough
to do too much of the "rookie sepculation"
thing, but I now know that the 2001 and other
sets might be something I would be interested
in based on rookies I liked from previous years.
