Why is PSA Taking

Forever to log cards in after they recieve them? When does the clock begin, when they recieve the cards or when they check them in?

I hear ya!! I mailed my cards on February 28th Priority mail. Unfortunately my wife mailed them and did not get delivery confirmation so I have no idea where my cards are.
  • Thanks BKAH,

I just wish they would check the cards in within 3-4 days...I have no problem waiting 45 days or whatever it is, after all I knew that going in, if I want it faster I should have paid more....so they can keep my cards 35 Business days just let me know you have them, even with Delivery confirmation, just for Piece of mind I like to think they are being processed.
I will still say PSA is still best I will take them over SGC and BGS any day of the week and twice on Sunday....image
  • They've given me a few near heart attacks (and I'm a healthy 24-year-old) by not entering them into their system until four days after they were received. But don't worry, the grass ain't greener on the other side, BGS didn't load my cards into the system after the Hollywood Park show until that Thursday, four days after I put them directly into their hands. But this is the business we have chosen and we must be prepared to suffer the consequences for our indesretions.

Although it may take PSA awhile longer to log the submissions in then before. They also are grading and shipping them out alot quicker then before. In '04 I've had 7 submission orders (not incl the ones I gave them at the Fort Friday night) for the '70's special & the'60's bulk. Of the 7, five took 4 days or less to be graded, and the longest one took 20 days (regular days not business days), still a long way from their 45 business day guarantee....jay

They received my order 3/1 and it's still not in.
  • I guess they saw my message, Just got an email cards that I mailed on 2-23-04 recieved on 2-25-04 By them were just entered into the systems on 3/9/04.

Another order for 6 Cards, free submissions you get when you sign up they have had for 7 days and the promise 10 day turnaround...I doubt they will meet that...and I marked "Club" on the package....are still not in the system...as long as I get them within the turnaround time...

Submitted 2 cards to PSA/DNA on 2-21 at the tri-star in SF. PSA logged in on 3-5, and shipped out 3-5. Will have cards in hand today.

    Thanks

    Jay-

You make an excellent point. We may all grouse about PSA now and then, but let's face it-- if when I first started getting cards graded someone told me that my biggest gripe would concern the lag between when the cards were received and when they were processed I'd have been a happy camper.

I bet that GAI or SGC or even PRO
would get your cards logged in right away!

    (anyone really want to switch?

yeah, I did not think so.)

My last submission to SGC was to be a 45 day turn-around for bulk-commons.

It took three months for SGC to return my cards.
  • The only problem I have is that they have your package and don't let you know that they have received it. A little common courtesy is all that most of us are asking for I think. Just let us know that the cards have arrived safely. Just had to get my two cents in since I have a package waiting to be logged in for almost two weeks now.

Koby, you need to brush up on SGC's service tiers if you are going to make up stories about them. They don't offer a 45 day bulk common service....that's a PSA service tier. image

In the future, you might want to check their website to see exactly what they offer...it will make your stories a bit more believable.

  • Uh-oh Koby, you'd better give some SGC serial numbers from that submission to clear your name.

  • It seems SGC bulk fees take 20-30 days
