can anyone tell me what happened to this coin?

I had this slabbed about 2 or 3 years ago.When I sent it in it wasn't anything like the way it looks now.The color is awful looking.Every time I look at it I want to barf.Before I sent it in it was just starting to tone up.It had a very lite golden color to it and it looked pretty.Am confused.

Just try scanning it bigger--then crop it down after you scan it.

Looks like somebody dipped it in Tarnex or one of those other silver cleaning solutions which do far more harm then good to coins (especially if they do not neutralize it properly).

It very well could be completely original in my opinion, or it could be hosed...
