I rec'd my 2004 p+d $50 bags of nickels this morning. I've been through about 500 of each date. Here's what I've found and seen thus far: The Denver coins are much nicer than the Philly coins. Some of the D's look semi-prooflike. The P's are beat to heck and look like they've been run through a rock tumbler. Someone at the Denver mint must have been taken out to the woodshed because the quality is very much improved this year. Overall P avg. grade: 63.8, overall D grade avg: 64.4......my submission quality coins thus far and my grade predictions:
2004p: MS65: 4
MS66: 1 (maybe)
2004d: MS67: 1 ( about a 66.75, could go 66 because I don't know PCGS's focal point yet)
MS66: 4
MS65: 10+
That's the scoop at this point. I still have about a 1000 more to go. I will post pics tomorrow of the best ones.

I've been thinking about buying some bags like you just did. But my question is what do you do with all the ones you have no interest in? Do you just spend them? Just curious
Thanks
