I have 694 of the 1967 MS67 Kennedy Halves for sale. Anyone interested or know of anyone I can sell them to?

  • US company called Lloyds & Associates. I have done a few trades with them over the past few years and have no reason to believe the coins that I have bought are anything but what is said. Each one is in its own bar coded envelope

Thanks, but I'll pass. To get MS67 money for a common coin like this, they need to be certified by PCGS.
    .
PCGS has not graded that many 1967 Kennedy half dollars in all categories of MS67.

  • Lloyds have confirmed that they are infact PCGS graded. Any idea where they can be sold?
  • You should probably wait until they are in hand and get some images for board members.

There is one of two things going on here:
    1. The New Member is trying to scam us, or
    2. He just doesn't know what he's talking about.
    .
    Reason
PCGS has only graded 639 total 1967 Kennedy half dollars in MS67, SMS67, SMS67CA and SMS67DC according to the latest population report I have. So what are the chances that one person would have 55 more coins than PCGS would have graded?

You start off by saying "I have 694 of the 1967 MS67 Kennedy Halves for sale." Then you state that these were graded by Lloyds & ASS.. Then the story changes, these were only sold by Llloyds (?) & are really graded by PCGS! So I presume you do not have these in hand yet?
I'll play along, but first some questions
    1) Do you know the cert. # of a few of the coins, maybe 10? 694 would be too many to write down.
    2) Does Lloyds have a website we can access?
    3) I'll buy them all for .75 each ppd - CODimage

  • I have one in PCGS SMS 67 right here so subtract one from the PCGS pops.

The pops probably overstate the situation anyway as some undoubtly were cracked out to try for a 68...
  • The new member is not trying to scam you, anyway how could it be done. The second option is correct. Over the past couple of years we (we are a corp)(ltd co in UK) have bought and sold thru Lloyds various coins, all bought in bulk below PCGS price then sold after about 6-7 weeks at PCGS price. The return has been about 22%. The coins are stored at The Pinnacle Depository. We have 694 of them. Lloyds have stated that the coins are not selling for PCGS price and that we should hold them for 90 days. We are keen to sell them now. We own them. Instead of looking for a scam how about some names and numbers of someone you think will deal in these coins. We are looking for a price close to PCGS. I will arrange a viewing for any serious buyers, however it takes 2 weeks to get clearance.

    Just who/what is Lloyds?
    How can we contact them?
Do they have a web site?
How can they get their hands on 694 PCGS graded coins of the same date/grade?
    Something smellsimage

  • I would only make an offer if they actually get certified by PCGS. In the (low) chance you do get some 67s they still aren't worth all that much if these are SMS coins.

Do YOU have a web site?
    From the UK?

    .
If the coins actually existed, I would be a player. But, unfortunately, the quantities and grades you quote DO NOT exist. I would not recommend anybody, since what you are selling doesn't exist and I would not want to be a party to a fraud!
    .
We are looking for a price close to PCGS.
    .
You, me and everybody else is looking for a price close to the PCGS price guide, but the price guide isn't realistic.
