Sent in my quarterly submission today

I sent in my quarterly submission today. I know it's not a big deal but it was my first time to send anything to be graded. This way I can see how the machines at PCGS operate then send in the biggie submission on the next runimage Duh...I guess I should say what I sent. It was a 1885-O toned Morgan dollar. I expect it won't grade any higher than MS63 but at least I can see how everything works as fas as the grading process goes.

Thanks Russ! It just had to be done sooner or laterimage

Hey Bubblehead, We'll see what happens. This is like a test run you know. Just to see how it works and then send in the other 4-5 coins for submission. Oh yeah, nice grade on your morganimage

They seem to get the freebies done much faster than economy submissions. You should have it back in about 3 weeks.

How is your first submission the quarterly. To take advantage of this you must be a gold or Platinum member of PCGS. Didn't you send in your 4 coins for joining????

Those 4 submissions are good for a year

I'm a gold member....you know that just don't sound right...ehemimage And yes you are correct you do have 4 free submission when you join as a "gold member" and these are good for one year. However, you can also submit coins anytime you wish as well as long as you pay the correct fees. The quarterly submission is open to all members gold status and aboveimage
