    Rick,

I like the rainbow rim colors on your 57d. Sweet! I bet you hate to part with it?

  • Thanks Craig and Ken! Just got through looking at all the quarters I have for sale under a "ott" light and now I'm wondering why I put them up for bid. They are all very nice but duplicates so it's time to pass them on to others.

The 57d does have some rich colors along the rim. The 58p, though common in 66, has a wonderful blue obverse. I mean it is BLUE!!! I'm still scratching my head wondering why I'm selling the 54s. I look at the supersized picture of the obverse and it is so cool. Always loved the coin because of the great end of roll pattern toning. It has met it's reserve and I know I'm going to miss it. Great colors on the 54p but I have two others just as nice. I'm sure the new owner will enjoy it. Can't figure out why no one has seriously gone after the 46p. I have a fairly high reserve on but it is lower than what I paid for it. The last one I saw on Ebay went for $261 about a week ago. It was white and personally I think this is far nicer. Only a couple small hits on the obverse with a very clean reverse. It will go back in my collection if it doesn't sell. The last quarter available is a 52s in MS67. In my opinion I have a very low reserve on it. Paid well over $300 for it at auction and the reserve is way less than that. Someone has a chance to steal this one from me.

First of the auctions end at 1600 PST.

    Rick
