More cherrypicking look at this 72-D Ike I got today

In my picking today I found this awesome 1972-Dimage

The reverse has this hint of toning. I thought it looked darn good for a business strike Ikeimage

Nice toning, and a clean coin. Looks like there's die polish in the left obv. field. Is the left leg of the R in LIBERTY straight (pegged) or does it have a lower serif (flared)? I have a pegged leg that has the exact same die polish.

It is a pegger DHeathimage This coin did not come for the same shop I found the 73-P. This one came from the local flea market from a guy that had a table full of boxes with coins in them. Most of the ones I looked at were okay. But then, I saw he had a few Ikes and this one was crying out, GET ME THE H..E.. DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS OUTTA HERE!" So I did and this one could be on its way to sunny Newport Beach. Califorinaimage

    That's nice even for a '72-D!
