Date with the most new coin designs

What date had the most new coin designs, i.e. most replacements for existing coins? For example, in 1959 we had a half a new coin design with the change of the back of the Lincoln cent.

    I would have guessed 1892 or 1916, but I bet its not that simple!

    in 1838 all the silver changed from the caped bust to the seated lib design and the seated lib changed to barber lib bust in 1892 (well not counting the morgan, design came out in 1878). in 1916 the walker, SLQ, Merc. Buff 1913
