Hockey card questions. Help please.

All right I'm normally over on the coin side, and this is my first post over here on the sports card side. I would like to say hello to everyone and hopefully obtain some advice from you all. I stopped collecting hockey cards a few years back, up until the time I quit, I was usually buying a box a week or every other week. (Upperdeck SP, Pros and Prospects, Legends, SPx, Pacific Titanium, Private Stock etc etc.)

I was talking to a gentleman that I work with, and he and his son has just started collecting and would like me to bring in some nice interesting quality cards to sell him. Well here is my problem, I have know idea what to charge, I want to be fair to both of us, by not over charging, or by not robbing myself by giving them away.

When I stopped, Game Used Jersey and Graded cards were the new hottest thing demanding a nice premium, followed by signed or numbered rookie cards, then perhaps the signed or numbered vetern cards.

I pulled out a few interesting ones, that are either his or his sons favorites, and a few other cards that I think look sharp that they might like.

I will list 8 cards to start with and I'm hoping you guys can help me by giving me a fair price for them.

1. Mario Lemieux - Upper Deck 2001 SP Tools of Trade Game Used cardnumber ML
2. Peter Forsburg - Upperdeck 2001 SPx - Wining Materials - Gameused Stick and Jersey cardnumber pf
3. Marty Turco - Upperdeck 2001 Young Guns Cardnumber 428
4. Serei Federov - Upperdeck - UD3 28/100 cardnumber E42>>set162>>subsetTS72
5. Marian Gaborik - Be A Player 2000 - Gold Signiture Card cardnumber 241
6. Chris Osggod - Upperdeck 2001 Evolve Game Used Jersey 84/300 cardnumber E-CO
7. Martin Havlet - Upperdeck 2001 Pros and Pospect This a slabbed card by SGC96mint9 numbered 241/1000 card number 116
8. Jari Kuri - Upper Deck 2000 - Nhl Legends autograph cardnumber jk

Thank you a bunch

    Here is Beckett High BV:

    1. $30
    2. $30
    3. $20
    4. Can't find, maybe $10
    5. $30
    6. Can't find maybe $5
    7. $18 ungraded
    8. $20

Selling your cards for half of BV would be a generous offer in my opinion. Others might disagree.
The Gaborik and Turco are good cards and nothing wrong with a Kurri auto.

Well (and this is just me talking) does he have "coins" that he might want to trade? Im a firm beleiver that the card is only worth what someone is going to pay for it. Have them select the cards and make you an offer. Let them know you have an "idea" of what you would like for them. Or do an all or nothing type deal. This way they have to do a little "work" on their own. Something they are going to have to do anyway in the near future. Something else that I would consider, are they doing it for an "investment" or is it a hobby because of the sport?

Am I babbling or does this make sense?

These are current BV. Most can be had on Ebay for half HI book or less. Many superstars carry more than half book value. Most of yours are superstars. You would probably do well to sell them in bulk for one price.
