Wait till you see where the 53s end up after the Mastro auction -- they will probably go higher, and they are water-damaged!
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

Do you know if the packs will be listed as such in the catalogue?

bobs, the pack had a reserve and it lets others know that he is serious about the pack. 1955 packs go over 5k,the mastro 53's will surely go crazy. about a year ago , I saw a god awful condition 56 go for 3500 on the buy it now. if you can't find the pack and you can fing the money, does it make a differnce what you pay?

I'm tempted to bid on it but I'm torn. Anything prior to 1959 is very rare (excluding '52s). However, you never know when a full box is going to be found and "flood" the market, e.g., Mastro auction.
