Home PCGS Set Registry Forum

I'm back!

Hi guys and gal! I'm back on the mainland now. I have been reading the boards for a few years now - so I know about all of you.

I am going to attend my first coin show in Baltimore. I plan to visit the PCGS booth. I have been saving my raw quarters for years. I have never submitted a single coin. As you can see from the registry (Bryan), I have been buying all my coins from all of you. Time to make some of my own.

Some of you already know me - the rest of you will be hearing from me quite regularly on the boards.

Some things I must say:

1. Thanks Bob and Mitch. They have been mentoring me from day one.
2. I want to see Craig's set! Great job Craig!
3. Tom, nice move on the 32S!

    Bill: WELCOME BACK!

Best of luck with the submission coins. I'm not sure if PCGS' formal invitation to the Las Vegas Invitational (4/12-14) reached you? I would enjoy meeting you, but, I have cancelled my plans to go to Baltimore. There is just too much to do right now on this coast. image

  • Hey Bill,

Welcome back! As you've obviously seen, there's been a lot of activity in the Washington quarter arena in the last few years. I believe the advent of the State quarter program generated a lot of interest in the '32-'64 series. Consequently, we've seen prices go up and up...I honestly don't think there's an end in sight right now to where this series will go...great retun potential, if you're looking at if from an investment standpoint, however for me it's all about collecting rather than making $ when I sell...that is just a nice "symptom" of building a good set! It's been great fun for me and I've met a lot of great people as a result!

Thank you for the compliment on me making the '32-S in MS65...got lucky on that one.

Best of luck with your collecting interests!
